The Australian national rugby union, also known as the Wallabies, represents Australia in rugby union. Every year, Australia competes against South Africa and New Zealand in the Tri-Nations Series, wherein they also contest South Africa for the Mandela Challenge Plate and New Zealand for the Bledisloe Cup. They have also won two of the seven Rugby World Cups, beating England in 1991 and France in 1999. Several players from Australia have been inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame, including David Campese, who was voted player of the tournament in the 1991 Rugby World Cup; John Hipwell, who also received the Order of Australia Medal in 1982 for rugby; and Ken Catchpole, who is considered as one of Australia's greatest scrumhalves. Hall of Famer John Eales, who is considered as the most successful captain in Australian rugby history, has also received the honour of induction into the International Rugby Board Hall of Fame in 2007.
